Time for a Hancinema update. Kind Words and Miss Korea have ended. Two more awesome shows have started. Empress Ki is still underway!
Great first two episodes and an intriguing premise. The little girl, Kim Yoo-bing, is adorable. Lee Bo-young is fantastic although her character needs a chill pill. Jo Seung-woo is spot on. Anyone notice he’s like the older Lee Jun-ki?
Ji Chang-wook is still awesome. It’s stronger on Tuesdays. But it lacks cohesion over the course of time. It’s still beautiful in terms of sets, and wardrobe and choreography.
This show is about adultery, but they explore it really well. I fell in love with Park Seo-joon. The ending didn’t fit my moral opinion, but it was well planned out, thought out and suported.
It’s all Pasta-like fluff. There is some wicked chemistry between Lee Seon-kyun and Lee Yeon-hee. Lee Sung-min as the soft-hearted loan shark is a standout.
Funny as hell. Great chemistry between Lee Min-jung and Joo Sang-wook. L/Myung-soo is hysterical as the sassy sidekick. The funny doesn’t undermine the bigger issues. Some plot inconsistencies, and everyone but the mains are kinda annoying.
