Park Shi-hoo in a New Drama, Cheongdam-dong Alice! ASA!

by: Raine

(Nom, nom, frickin’ nom!)

I know I’ve been absent from the Dichotomy due to, y’know, life. But what kind of true fan and negligent blogger would I be if I didn’t post about Park Shi-hoo breaking out of his several-month-long dramaland disappearance? He’s appearing in Cheondam dong Alice (and hopefully nothing with change from now until then!) It’s a rom-com (yay, kissing), it has Moon Geun-young (yay, talent) and, most importantly, Park Shi-hoo (yay, k-drama LOVE.)

Recapping Plans

by: Raine

So it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to recap that’s currently airing. My dilemma is threefold this summer.

  1. I had surgery on my hands so recapping is just plain ol’ physically taxing.
  2. I’m going to England from June 21 to July 11. (No, I’m not recapping on vacation although you will get update posts.)
  3. I’m moving from Florida to Colorado…and I’m driving. That’s 2000 miles!

Now, recapping currently airing shows was kinda fun (and stressful) and I really want to continue. But I also have three retrocaps I’ve been working on for ages that I would really like to finish. So here’s what I’m gonna do:

  1. I’m going to cover KBS2’s Big until I leave, then catch up as I will.
  2. I’m going to work on my retrocaps and hopefully get a few set up for while I’m away. (Retrocaps are Padam Padam, How to Meet a Perfect Neighbor and White Christmas)

There you have it. Mostly this summer is as I will. Thanks for reading and supporting the Dichotomy!

How to Meet a Perfect Neighbor: Episode 9 Recap

Is she contemplating jumping him? She should be…

Thanks for your patience with this one. I decided to take my first stab at recapping a currently airing show and then ended up recapping two, Fashion King and Rooftop Prince. My “retrocaps” as I like to call them, have gone on the back burner. I will try to get one out a week, but that depends on my sanity and RL work load.

As for this episode, it really foreshadowed the kind of relationship Yoon-hee is going to have with Joon-suk. ‘Cause let’s face it, we know they’s gettin’ togetha. She’s going to be bashed for being a nobody and he’s going to have to fight the powers that be (mother, Hye-mi, Director Go, his own upbringing) to keep loving her.
